Aldesa, a leading business group in infrastructure and services, announces that its subsidiary Acisa has been awarded the contract for the comprehensive maintenance of public street lighting in Badalona for the next three years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.
The contract, valued at €6.6 million (VAT included), covers the management and maintenance of more than 27,000 lighting points, 327 of which are equipped with dimming systems, 19,050 supports, and 406 control panels distributed throughout the Catalan city.
The main obligations under the contract include:
- Preparing an updated inventory of the installations during the first quarter of execution.
- The scheduled replacement of all non-LED lamps within a three-year period, with incentives for completion within the first year.
- Adapting the installations to current regulations, including the replacement of T8 and T5 fluorescent lamps with LED technology.
This contract award reinforces Aldesa’s and Acisa’s commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, contributing to improved public service quality and to the development of smarter, more environmentally friendly cities.
