Aldesa has reached €100 million in electricity transmission contracts in Poland so far this year, following the award of a new project for Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE), the country’s electricity system operator. Valued at €49 million, this contract is the third that Aldesa has secured in Poland this year for similar projects and involves the construction of a section of the 400 kV Choczewo–Gdańsk Przyjaźń high-voltage transmission line.
The full transmission line will span 90 km, crossing 10 municipalities in the Pomerania region and connecting the Choczewo substation with the Gdańsk Przyjaźń substation. The new infrastructure will play a key role in integrating electricity generated by offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea into Poland’s power grid and enabling its transmission to the central part of the country.
With this new contract, Aldesa further strengthens its presence in the Polish market, where it has already constructed nearly 280 km of high-voltage transmission lines. The award represents another milestone in the company’s collaboration with PSE within the framework of Poland’s national investment program for the development of its electricity transmission infrastructure.
