Aldesa’s branch in Peru has certified its anti-bribery management system in accordance with the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics standard. This certification, granted after successfully passing an audit conducted by an independent third party, Global Certification Bureau, focuses on combating bribery in all its forms and provides an additional guarantee for the organization’s clients and partners by ensuring transparent and ethical conduct across all its operations.
As part of this certification, which is valid for three years, Aldesa will be subject to periodic reviews to ensure continued compliance with the requirements of the anti-bribery management system. The scope of the certification covers four main areas: civil works construction, road construction, building construction, and electrical infrastructure works.
Obtaining this certification in the Andean country is further evidence of Aldesa’s commitment to transparency, integrity, and international best practices in compliance. Along these lines, in 2020, the company became the first organization in Spain to obtain the UNE 19601:2017 Criminal Compliance Management System certification. Since then, Bureau Veritas has endorsed the implementation of its compliance system to prevent criminal offenses, reduce criminal risk, and promote a culture of ethics and compliance throughout the organization.
More than a decade contributing to infrastructure in Peru
With more than 50 years of global experience in the infrastructure sector, Aldesa has been present in Peru since 2012. Some of the most notable projects carried out in the country include the National Museum of Archaeology (MUNA)—the largest museum in Peru and one of the most important in Latin America—the new Mapfre headquarters in Lima (an eight-story building with a rooftop and five underground levels), and the Pardo 200 building in the Miraflores district (two 17-story towers with a rooftop and seven underground levels).
