Aldesa moves closer to securing a €43 million contract for a new road project in Poland

The Spanish construction company submitted the highest-ranked bid for the Zwoleń bypass, ahead of 12 competing bidders.
The project, promoted by Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), is awaiting final confirmation of the contract award.

Aldesa’s bid for the design and construction of the Zwoleń bypass in Poland has been selected as the most advantageous of the 13 tenders submitted to Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA). The project, valued at over PLN 190 million (approximately €43 million), is currently awaiting final confirmation of the contract award.

The project involves the construction of a new road approximately 9 kilometres long, designed to divert traffic away from the town centre and improve mobility and road safety. The works also include the rehabilitation of the existing section of national road DK79 and the construction of eight structures, comprising four viaducts and four wildlife crossings. The project is expected to be completed within 42 months of the contract being signed.
