CAS, Aldesa’s concessionaire in Mexico, has once again achieved the maximum score of 100 points in the GRESB sustainability benchmark for the third consecutive year, earning a GRESB 5-Star rating, reserved for participants with the strongest overall performance.
This result once again consolidates CAS as the regional sector leader: the company maintains its leading position in highway management and maintenance in Latin America and the Caribbean (1st out of 12), ranks first in the private transport sector across the Americas (1st out of 7), and holds the top position in the GRESB transport benchmark for road companies in the region (1st out of 28).
The GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) distinction represents significant recognition for Aldesa within the framework of the international standard used by institutional investors to assess the environmental, social and governance performance of infrastructure and real estate assets worldwide.
It also reflects the Group’s commitment to conducting its activities responsibly across its different business lines, supporting projects that place society’s well-being at the heart of their approach while promoting environmental protection.
Aldesa has been a key shareholder in CAS since 2007 and, together with its partner AINDA Energía e Infraestructura, operates and maintains the Tuxtla Gutiérrez–San Cristóbal de las Casas (46.5 km) and Arriaga–Ocozocoautla (93 km) toll highways in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. These highways connect the state’s main cities with the Pacific coast and the Chiapas Highlands. In 2023, more than 12 million journeys were recorded on these roads, highlighting their impact on mobility and economic growth in the region.
