Aldesa participates alongside Hygreen in the III National Green Hydrogen Congress in Huelva

On 4, 5 and 6 February, Aldesa will participate in the III National Green Hydrogen Congress, held in Huelva, alongside Hygreen, an Asian multinational specialising in electrolysers and comprehensive solutions for green hydrogen production.

The participation of both companies aims to publicise the strategic alliance between Aldesa and Hygreen and their joint proposal for services as a 360° supplier for hydrogen projects. The services offered by this alliance range from permits and project structuring to design, construction, operation and maintenance.

This agreement is the first of its kind between a Chinese technology company and a Spanish construction company, aimed at promoting green hydrogen projects worldwide. This alliance also represents an opportunity for the Spanish market to benefit from a joint solution that will accelerate the implementation of this type of project, provide specialised knowledge at the local level and offer an innovative collaboration model between a technology provider with more than 300 hydrogen projects developed, such as Hygreen, and Aldesa, a leader in industrial project management. All this with the guarantee of project execution and process optimisation.

Hydrogen is a strategic part of Spain’s energy transition to meet European decarbonisation, energy transition and climate neutrality targets. With more than 350 projects registered in the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) census covering the entire hydrogen value chain (production, infrastructure, consumption, etc.).

Both Aldesa and Hygreen presented their alliance to Congress attendees through an information stand and a presentation entitled ‘Hygreen-Aldesa: a 360° approach to hydrogen projects’, given by Aldesa’s Director General of Business Development, José María Argüelles de Bustillo. The presentation analysed the current context of the hydrogen sector, the existing strategic opportunities and how the alliance between Aldesa and Hygreen constitutes a reliable and competitive solution in a key sector in Spain at the present time.

Aldesa was also represented at the conference by its Director of Renewable Energy, Ildefonso Canelo Torrescusa, and Ignacio Espinosa de los Monteros Martínez, while Hygreen was represented by Daniel Fernandez de Salamanca, EO for EMEA at Hygreen.

In short, among the main benefits that the alliance between Hygreen and Aldesa can offer interested customers are comprehensive support from the initial stages, proven complementary experience, reduced rework and CAPEX optimisation, as well as an execution model backed by a solid track record in critical infrastructure.
