The Spanish company Aldesa has been awarded a contract in Poland for the design and construction of a section of the S10 expressway for an amount of 140 million euros. The project, awarded by the country’s General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA), involves the development of a route of more than 20 kilometers between Pila and Bydgoszcz and will have an execution period of 47 months.
The works will include the creation of two new interchanges, the remodeling of the Wyrzysk junction, and the construction of 15 engineering structures, including wildlife crossings. Furthermore, the project includes the construction of service areas with charging points for electric vehicles, an intelligent traffic management system, and a new maintenance center powered by renewable energy.
This contract consolidates Aldesa’s position in the Polish infrastructure market. With this award, the construction company strengthens its portfolio in the country, where it already maintains strong activity in segments ranging from roads and railways to energy and fuel infrastructures.
