Aldesa, a global engineering group specialized in infrastructure, renewable energy, technological solutions and concessions, has signed an agreement with Google Cloud to accelerate its digital transformation through the deployment of Google Cloud technologies and the integration of advanced artificial intelligence and data analytics tools into its international infrastructure and energy projects.
The agreement will enable the company to develop a corporate digital platform in the cloud that will integrate applications, operational data and advanced analytics tools with the aim of improving project management, optimizing processes and strengthening decision-making across the organization.
As part of this initiative, Aldesa is promoting the creation of a corporate data platform that will integrate information from projects, construction sites, operations, machinery, and various corporate areas. This infrastructure will provide a unified, real-time view of the group’s activity, enabling more efficient planning, greater cost control, and more accurate monitoring of project progress.
Building on this technological foundation, the company will also explore the use of Google AI tools, such as Gemini and NotebookLM, aimed at automating administrative processes, facilitating access to technical knowledge and improving information analysis in complex projects.
These capabilities will enable the development of new use cases in areas such as digital monitoring of construction progress, project document management, risk analysis and optimization of bidding processes, while also strengthening collaboration between technical teams located in different countries.
“This partnership represents an important step in Aldesa’s digital transformation process,” said Javier Lamas, CEO of Aldesa. “It will allow us to better leverage the potential of data and artificial intelligence, connect our teams, and improve the way we plan, collaborate, and execute increasingly complex projects at an international level.”

Collaboration, cybersecurity and information protection
The agreement also includes the implementation of Google Workspace as the digital work environment for the more than 2,500 professionals of the group across the 15 countries in which Aldesa operates. This new ecosystem will enable real-time connectivity between on-site teams, headquarters, and international projects, strengthening collaboration, information sharing, and secure access to documents and tools from any location.
Additionally, Aldesa will strengthen its cybersecurity and information protection capabilities through Google Cloud’s native security infrastructure and services. The company will move toward a security model based on advanced identity management, data protection, and modern architectures built on a zero-trust approach, strengthening the protection of critical information associated with its projects and operations.
With this initiative, Aldesa reinforces its commitment to an operating model based on cloud platforms, data and artificial intelligence, with the aim of improving operational efficiency, accelerating innovation and addressing the growing complexity of international infrastructure and energy projects.
