Aldesa, in collaboration with Telhidra, has been awarded the contract to manage the Mar de Cristal Marina, located in Cartagena. This agreement, signed on 26th September 2025, stipulates that the concession will last for a period of 20 years, with the aim of improving and modernising the port facilities, as well as providing more efficient and sustainable management.
The concession contract covers the full management of the marina, which has 111 wet berths and 64 dry marina spaces, spread over a total area of more than 25,000 m². This space will also include commercial and dining activities, which will contribute to revitalising the area and enhancing the services offered to marina users.
Commitment to Sustainability and Safety
One of the main focuses of the project is enhancing safety and accessibility at the marina. Planned improvements include the installation of a video surveillance system, new lighting towers, and a permanent watchtower to ensure 24-hour security. Furthermore, accessibility for people with reduced mobility will be improved, with specialised equipment for embarking and disembarking passengers, as well as the adaptation of toilets at the marina.
The project also includes a strong commitment to digitalisation, with the introduction of new technologies to ensure the efficient management of port resources. These actions aim to optimise the use of the facilities and provide a more comfortable and secure experience for marina users.
