Construction of the railway platform for the Lubián – La Canda Tunnel section of the Madrid–Galicia High-Speed Rail Line. The project involves the construction of the railway platform along a section of significant technical complexity, located on the connection between Zamora and Ourense within the North–Northwest high-speed corridor. The works include earthworks, tunnel excavation and lining, the construction of viaducts and overpasses, as well as auxiliary structures and drainage works. The project also incorporates the installation of containment and environmental protection systems, together with landscape integration measures. This section, which is key to connecting Galicia to Spain’s high-speed rail network, enhances the capacity and safety of the route, reduces travel times and strengthens regional connectivity.
