The contract covers the construction of an 18.3 km section of the S74 expressway from Łagów to Opatów in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The contract value amounts to PLN 632 million. In accordance with the contract, the project implementation period is 39 months, excluding winter periods. The Łagów – Opatów section will connect with the planned Łagów bypass and the Opatów bypass currently under construction. The new route will largely follow a new alignment south of the existing National Road No. 74.
In addition to the Baćkowice interchange, the project includes the construction of nine viaducts, seven bridges, a wildlife crossing, and two motorway service areas in Oziębłów. The scope of works also includes, among other elements, the construction of access roads and full connectivity for adjacent areas. Road safety equipment and environmental protection measures, including noise barriers, will also be installed, together with the construction and reconstruction of road-related infrastructure.
