Construction of a road tunnel at km 16+440 of the Pachuca–Huejutla Highway, on the section between Real del Monte and the Huasca Interchange, in the State of Hidalgo, Mexico. Designed to accommodate four traffic lanes, the infrastructure includes hydraulic concrete pavement, horizontal and vertical road signage, drainage works, ancillary works, and electrical installations. The project also includes a plant room, ventilation and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), as well as the construction of the tunnel approaches using cut-and-cover sections at the entrance and exit portals. The project will increase the corridor’s capacity and road safety, improve regional connectivity, and reduce travel times.
