From tomorrow, drivers will be able to use the S7 expressway between Płońsk and Czosnów in its full cross-section, with three lanes in each direction. This marks an important stage in the delivery of one of the key infrastructure projects north of Warsaw, in which Aldesa is also involved.
The opening of the main carriageway of the S7 expressway between Płońsk and Czosnów represents a significant step forward in the development of Poland’s national transport network. The modern 2×3 lane infrastructure substantially increases road capacity, improves traffic safety and reduces travel times between northern Mazovia and the Warsaw metropolitan area. The newly opened section also plays an important role in providing access to Warsaw Modlin Airport and in accommodating transit traffic towards the Tri-City area.
During a press briefing, the Minister of Infrastructure, Dariusz Klimczak, confirmed that the route is ready to be fully opened to traffic, highlighting the importance of the investment for both the regional and national transport systems. Bringing the road into service at this standard is the result of months of close cooperation between public authorities, designers, engineers and contractors.
As part of the project, Aldesa is delivering the Siedlin–Załuski section, being responsible for comprehensive construction works carried out in line with the highest standards of quality, safety and engineering responsibility.
The opening of the main route does not mark the completion of all works. Further stages will include the delivery of remaining elements of the project, such as roadside facilities, motorway service areas and service roads. These works will continue while maintaining traffic flow and in accordance with the approved project schedule.
The commissioning of the S7 expressway north of Warsaw is further evidence that consistently implemented infrastructure investments deliver tangible results. For Aldesa, it also confirms the company’s role in delivering key road projects in Poland, building solutions that serve people, the economy and future generations.
