Aldesa started the works on section 2 of the DW877 provincial road modernisation project, which runs between the towns of Dylągówka and Szklary, in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The contract was formalised on 4 April with the Regional Road Authority of the Podkarpackie Province and covers the extension and improvement of a 4.79-kilometre section, within the framework of the European programme European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021-2027.
The section starts at the junction with provincial road DW878 in Dylągówka and ends 315 metres before the junction with road No. 835 in Szklary. The scope of the project includes reconfiguring the route, redesigning junctions to improve road safety and constructing a new alignment to correct areas with high levels of curvature. Demolition, reconstruction and adaptation of associated technical infrastructure will also be carried out.
The works are expected to take 33 months from the signing of the contract.
The Project Presentation
The official presentation took place on 12 May in the town of Hyżne, at an institutional event where the start of the three key sections of the Tyczyn – Dynów route, with a total length of over 25 km, was announced. The event was attended by national and regional authorities, members of Parliament, representatives of the European Commission, local government officials and representatives of the contractors involved.
